Choosing a school for your son or daughter is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a parent. Here at the K.A.R.A.T.® School of Learning we have created an admissions process that will help you and your child make the right decision for everyone.
The first step: we want to meet you! Give the Admissions Department a call and schedule a visit for you and your child to come to campus and let us introduce you to the K.A.R.A.T. ® way of learning. Once you’ve spent some time with us and you have seen who we are and how we do things, it's time to fill out the applications and the assessment questionnaires.
There are just a few forms that need to be filled out and submitted to the Director Of Admissions and Student Affairs, Mary Acebo. You can email, fax, or mail them to the Admissions Department. To the right is the list of forms and descriptions - some are for the potential student to fill out and some for the potential parents. Potential students need to fill out in their entirety 1 & 2, and parents need to fill out 3-7 and turn in all paperwork along with a non-refundable $100 application fee. Next, an interview with the Admissions Board will be scheduled for the potential student and parent or parents. The five member Admissions Board makes its final recommendation of prospective students to the Head of School. The Head of School, Susan McDonald , will then meet with your son or daughter, after which decisions will be made on acceptance to the program. Final acceptance letters will be mailed out to the home address you submit to us.
